Behind the scenes of the Grace Notes is the Grace Notes Committee.
Maybe you've heard this term thrown around before, but what exactly is the Grace Notes Committee?
The Committee is composed of three or five members from the Ensemble that serve as administrators to the group.
The director, currently Jonathan Griffin, is in charge of the musicality of the Ensemble. He selects repertoire for the group, leads rehearsals, etc.
The Administrator, currently Ashelyn Walters, serves as a member manager (taking care of member wellness and scheduling) and an event manager (scheduling all of our concerts).
The Public Relations Officer, currently Caitlin Cornett, serves as a social media manager (posting and keeping track of all social media accounts) and a website manager (keeping the website up to date, blogging, and writing to the email list).
Right now, the Grace Notes Committee is working on a constitution for the Ensemble. With this document, the Ensemble will be able to start the process of becoming an officially recognized group on campus!
