Meet Ashelyn Walters | Grace Notes Member Spotlight - Spring 2019 | Emory, VA

Ashelyn Walters is a junior at Emory & Henry College, from Damascus, VA.

She is a Music Education major with hopes of teaching in a public school setting and holding a worship leader position in a church.

Ashelyn has been in choir and band (both concert and marching) since high school.

Now, she performs with the Emory & Henry Concert Choir, the Emory & Henry Chamber Choir, the Emory & Henry Band, the Emory & Henry Opera Workshop, and plays in the worship band at her church, in addition to Grace Notes.

In her free time, Ashelyn enjoys anything related to music, sketching and painting, dancing, reading, and cooking.

Fun Fact: Ashelyn is the proud owner of an impressive coffee mug collection!

Ashelyn helped found the Ensemble, is currently serving as the group's Administrator, and will be singing Mezzo-Soprano with us again this semester.
