Meet Kenny Shumate | Grace Notes Member Spotlight - Spring 2019 | Emory, VA

Kenny Shumate is a freshman at Emory & Henry College, from Afton, VA

He is a Music Education major with hopes of becoming a high school or college band director.

Kenny has been in band since the 6th grade.

Now, Kenny is involved with the Emory & Henry Band, the Emory & Henry Trumpet Ensemble, the Emory & Henry Concert Choir, and the Emory & Henry Chamber Choir, in addition to Grace Notes.

In his free time, Kenny enjoys playing video games, eating, and sleeping.

Fun Fact: Kenny can hit a B6 (which is a really high note).

Kenny will be singing Tenor with the Ensemble this semester.
