We love getting to perform in the community, and this event was no different!
It was special though.
The whole event was a benefit concert for the Kirk Edward Nairn Memorial Scholarship and the Connor Bartz Memorial Wind Band Composition (be the renowned composer Robert W. Smith). It was truly an honor to be invited to participate.
Grace Notes sang three pieces at the concert: "Happy Together," "Build Me Up Buttercup," and "Run to You."
This was one of our more emotional performances. We always feed off of our audience, and this one felt truly moved by these pieces, especially "Run to You." Most of out Ensemble left the stage in tears (it still gets to us, even after singing it every semester).
